Having established his own property investment portfolio over the years, Richard decided to turn his passion and knowledge into a career in the Mortgage Broking industry to help other home buyers and investors achieve their goals.

After a successful career working as a Business Consultant for a leading IT - ERP/Accounting software consultancy in Melbourne, Richard decided to join Citiwide Homeloans.

On the academic side, Richard has a Bachelor of Finance and Bachelor of Business Information System from Swinburne University, a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking and also a Master of IT from Monash University. He is also an accredited member of the Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA). He is fluent in Mandarin, having begun his education in China before relocating to Australia.

Specialising in working with the Chinese and English speaking community in the City of Monash and surrounds, Richard is determined to provide the best customer experience to his clients when dealing with Home Loans, Car Loans, and Debt Consolidations etc. From his own experience as a home owner, business owner and property investor, Richard understands clients’ emotions, fears and sometimes frustrations when dealing with banks. This is what motivated him to work as a Loan Specialist and take away all those negative experiences from his customers when purchasing their new home, investment property or cars.

Richard enjoys his work and loves any challenge; the happy faces he sees after helping his customers find the most suitable loan, is what motivates him and gives him the most satisfaction.

Outside work, Richard enjoys spending time and travelling with his family, experiencing different cultures and life styles. As a “professional hazard”, he enjoys chatting with locals about their local property market and banking services in every place that he travels.
